About Genevieve Harris-Eckel

I have experience working with minority communities including working with women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ clients. Minority groups, and couples, particularly those at the intersections of gender, race, and sexual orientation, are often underrepresented in fields of work such as business, tech, and entrepreneurship. I believe therapy can and should be a safe and non-judgmental space that empowers individuals to be able to push their own limits and views of themselves, in all aspects of their personal and professional lives. Being able to embrace oneself and each other is one of the strongest things a person can learn to do.

Women, people of color, and queer and trans people are often told by society that they don’t fit it, and in our work together we can help you to feel as though you do fit. I believe, you can embrace yourself and push yourself without having to succumb to society’s views of your assigned roles, in your professional life, and within your relationships.

Until we learn to actually love everything about ourselves, especially the parts of us other people have said we should change, we’re susceptible to everything. Once you love everything about yourself, nothing can hurt you. I’m here to help you through that journey, and teach you how to embrace your own inner strength, and overcome any barrier you’re facing.
